Curved concrete walkway through planted beds to a stone home

Concrete work

Driveways, walkways and concrete patios.

Poured and finished concrete across Houston, built on prepared ground with the joints and drainage planned for our shifting clay.

Concrete that lasts

Cracks come from skipped prep, not bad luck.

Concrete cracks when it is poured on poorly prepared, poorly drained ground, exactly what Houston's clay creates. We prep and grade the sub-base, place control joints where the slab wants to move and route water away, so the surface stays sound.

Failing concrete and debris come out so the new slab starts on clean, graded ground.

Wood forms and steel reinforcement laid out for a new patio

Form and reinforce

Forms set the shape and the joints, and reinforcement goes in before a drop of concrete.

Pour and finish

The slab is poured, finished and jointed, with the grade sending water away from the house.

Concrete work we do

Built on prep, not just a pour.

Drives, walks, steps and patios, often paired with pavers, turf or planting for contrast, and always graded to shed water.

Mostly because the clay underneath moves with moisture. Proper sub-base prep, control joints, and drainage are what keep cracking to a minimum, and that's where we focus.

Concrete is seamless and often more affordable; pavers flex with ground movement and are easier to repair. We'll help you weigh it for your lot and budget.
