I spoke to different companies and decided to go with Chris because he LISTENED. He was honest about what things would not work in my space because it does not get much sunlight, but also provided solutions and options we liked. After Harvey, our house was being worked on for over 8 months, leaving our small Downtown front yard looking terrible. After meeting to go over the plans, within a couple of weeks, the guys were out here working hard and in just 2 days, we now have a beautiful outdoor space and are so pleased to have our house looking like home again. My wife and I were extremely happy with the outcome of our outdoor project. We had Helms Landscape work on both our front and back yards with installation of artificial turf, blackstone gravel and placement of additional drainage systems. Helms Landscaping Design installed artificial turf in an area on my property that gets too much shade to grow grass and becomes nothing but a weed nightmare. I am very happy with the artificial grass and how tidy my yard now looks. In addition, the owner and his staff were all very professional and nice and they left my place very tidy. My husband and I hired Chris Helms to add drainage in our backyard and install a garden along our backyard fence-line. He was also competitively priced, extremely conscientious, flexible, really listened to what I wanted and tried to do everything he could to help us realize our vision for our garden, and, overall, his team did really beautiful work. I appreciated that everything was cleaned up at the end of the 3 days. He went above and beyond, adding left-over mulch to our front yard garden beds (at my request), without any additional charge.
